The Sussex County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be holding a FREE training course for anyone interested in learning how to assist themselves, their neighbors and their community before, during and after the impact of a major disaster.
Persons completing the course will have an opportunity to become members of the county and/or municipal Community Emergency Response Teams.
The program is open to ages 16 and older.
Training includes: Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety, First Aid, Light Search & Rescue, Disaster Psychology and more.
The training course will held across four days from 8am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th, 2017.
Classes will be held at the NJ State Forestry Services, 24 Route 206 North, Andover, NJ 07821.
