Medicare Workshop

(Newton, NJ) The Sussex County Department of Human Services, Division of Senior Services and the Sussex County Community College are offering a free workshop, "Navigating Medicare.gov." The one-day workshop will take place on October 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Sussex County Community College. The workshop is designed to teach Medicare beneficiaries how to navigate the Medicare.gov website, to compare Part D plans and identify which plans cover their prescriptions at the most affordable cost.

Medicare's Annual Open Enrollment period for 2012 Medicare Part D plans is October 15, 2011 - December 7, 2011. This workshop will give Medicare beneficiaries the opportunity to review their current Medicare Part D prescription coverage and decide if the coverage will meet their needs for 2012.
