Press Release - Plea of David Heller

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 16, 2018, by David Heller.
 
     Heller, age 32, of Unionville, New York, pled guilty to one (1) count of Aggravated Assault, a third degree crime. On November 9, 2017, Heller met his ex-girlfriend to drop off their daughter and they got into an argument and Heller strangled her until she lost consciousness.
 
     Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 2, 2018.
 
     Heller was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
