Press Release - Sentencing of Jonathan Ramirez

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Jonathan Ramirez, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 12, 2018.
     Ramirez, age 24, of Bronx, New York, was sentenced to two years Probation on condition he undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete 200 hours community service, submit to random urine monitoring and pay $155 in court fines and fees. 
     He pled guilty on October 23, 2017, to fourth degree Forgery.
     The defendant attempted to use a fraudulent prescription at Shop-Rite of Newton.
     Ramirez was represented by Justin Christodoro, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
