Press Release - Plea of Michael Bialick

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 30, 2017, by Michael Bialick.
     Bialick, age 54 of Glenwood, pled guilty to Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, a third degree crime, and Criminal Mischief, a disorderly persons offense.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for December 22, 2017.
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to using a baseball bat to strike and break the taillight of an individual’s vehicle. 
     The case was investigated by Patrolwoman Abigail Lenz and other officers of the Vernon Township Police Department. 
     Bialick was represented by Jeffrey S. Katz, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
