Press Release - Sentencing of Robert Wilson

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Robert Wilson, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 23, 2017.  
     Wilson, age 29 of Stanhope, was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison to run concurrent to Warren and Morris County sentences.  He was ordered to submit a DNA sample at his own expense, make restitution of $3,000.00 and pay fines and fees totaling $155.00.
     He pled guilty on February 14, 2017, to Burglary, a third degree crime.
     The defendant entered a Hopatcong residence on August 16, 2016, without the owner’s permission.
     Wilson was represented by Steven Insley, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
