Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Dallas Kruzelnick, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 26, 2017.
Kruzelnick, age 32, of Wantage, was sentenced to five years CSIP Probation. He must also undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, enter and successfully complete an inpatient substance abuse program, undergo random drug monitoring, obtain and maintain employment and pay $5,210.00 in court fines.
He pled guilty on March 10, 2017, to four counts of third degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and motor vehicle violation Driving while Under the Influence, second offense. He was sentenced that same day for the motor vehicle violation DWI to a nine (9) month license suspension and $914.00 in fines.
In February of 2016, the defendant was in possession of heroin and cocaine when New Jersey State Police responded to a report of an unconscious male sitting in his car in the roadway. Kruzelnick had to be shaken awake by EMTs before Troopers arrived. In a separate incident in November of 2016 the defendant was in possession of heroin and cocaine when pulled over by Sparta Police for swerving into another lane while driving.
