Press Release - Sentencing of Pedro Rodriguez

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Pedro Rodriguez, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 12, 2017.
     Rodriguez, age 60 of Middletown, New York, was sentenced to 180 days in jail and ordered to pay fines and fees totaling $1,155.00.
     He pled guilty on March 20, 2017, to Operating a Motor Vehicle During License Suspension (second violation), a fourth degree crime.
     The defendant operated a motor vehicle in Sparta Township on September 25, 2016, while his driver license was suspended for a second Driving While Intoxicated conviction.
     Rodriguez was represented by Mitchell Ansell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
