Press Release - Plea of Aimee Lowry-Crane

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on November 2, 2017, by Aimee Lowry-Crane.
Lowry-Crane, age 40 of Hamburg, pled guilty to Misapplication of Entrusted Property, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for January 26, 2018.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted that between June 30, 2014, and March 15, 2016, while serving in the fiduciary relationship as treasurer for the Hamburg Parent Teacher Association, she disposed of funds that had been entrusted to her in a manner that she knew was unlawful and involving substantial risk of loss or detriment to the PTA.
The case was investigated by Patrolman Fred Moses of the Hamburg Police Department and Detective Dean Voris of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Lowry-Crane was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
