Press Release - Plea of Christopher Scurto

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 16, 2017, by Christopher Scurto.
Scurto, age 25 of Greentown, Pennsylvania, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for December 15, 2017.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of 18 glassine folds of heroin.
The case was investigated by Officer Michael Haggerty of the Andover Township Police Department.
Scurto was represented by David Nufrio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
