Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 10, 2017 by Charles Harms.
Harms, age 54, of Newton, pled guilty to Driving While Suspended for a Second or Subsequent DWI, a crime of the fourth degre. He also pled guilty to violating his current probation. Sentencing is presently scheduled for December 15, 2017.
The defendant admitted that he was driving with a suspended license for a second or subsequent DWI when stopped by Andover Township Police for a motor vehicle violation.
Harms was represented by Robert J. Ferb, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
