Press Release - Sentencing of Kimberly Baird

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Kimberly Baird who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on September 29, 2017.
Baird, age 25, of Hackensack, was sentenced to three (3) years Probation with credit for 100 days jail time served on condition that she undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, submit to random urine monitoring, and pay all court imposed fines and fees.
She pled guilty on August 22, 2017 to two counts of third degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
In September of 2015, the defendant was a passenger in a vehicle during a motor vehicle stop in Franklin. Defendant was found to be in possession of Heroin and Cocaine at the time of the stop.
