Press Release - Sentencing of Brandon Ryzner-Meredith

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Brandon Ryzner-Meredith, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 16, 2017.
Ryzner-Meredith, age 26 of Newton, NJ, was sentenced to one (1) year of probation and twenty (20) hours of community service. Ryzner-Meredith was also ordered to have no contact with his victim and pay mandatory fines and fees.
Ryzner-Meredith pled guilty on May 1, 2017 to Harassment, a petty disorderly persons offense.
On January 23, 2017, Ryzner-Meredith was arrested for Harassment after sending threatening messages to his ex-girlfriend via Facebook.
Ryzner-Meredith was represented by David Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
