Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Austin May, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 2, 2017.
May, age 34, of Wantage, was sentenced to five (5) years Probation on condition that he completes 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility SLAP program, submit a DNA sample, undergo random urine monitoring, continue current treatment program, pay $546.88 in restitution, and pay $155.00 in fines and fees.
He pled guilty on February 15, 2017 to third degree Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
In November 2016, the defendant used a stolen credit card, which was taken from a Hampton home, to make several purchases at various businesses.
