Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 30, 2017, by David L. Brunt.
Brunt, age 28, of Andover, pled guilty to Driving While Suspended for a Second or Subsequent Driving While Intoxicated, a crime of the fourth degree and motor vehicle violation Driving while Under the Influence, fourth offense.
Sentencing is presently scheduled for June 9, 2017.
The defendant admitted he had been driving while his license was suspended for a second or subsequent DWI when he was found by New Jersey State Police, who were responding to a suspicious vehicle parked in the Quick Chek in Wantage.
Brunt was represented by Martin Morrison, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
