Press Release - Plea of Adrienne Wieladek

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of guilty pleas to accusations before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 10, 2017, by Adrienne Wieladek.

     Wieladek, age 40 of Branchville, pled guilty to two counts of Attempting to Obtain a Controlled Dangerous Substance by Fraud, a third degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 18, 2017.

     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to calling Wantage Rite Aid Pharmacy and Newton Rite Aid Pharmacy on October 21, 2016, and attempting to order prescriptions for Xanax.

     The cases were investigated by Tpr. B. J. Ackerman of the New Jersey State Police and Ptl. Russell Post of the Newton Police Department.

Wieladek was represented by David Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
