Press Release - Sentencing of Clifford Clark

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Clifford Clark, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 20, 2017.

Clifford Clark, age 41, of Wantage, was sentenced to three years’ probation, 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, submit a DNA sample, have no contact with the victim plus fines and fees with restitution in the amount of $4,103.59 and he is to write letters of apology to his victims. Clark was given 61 days jail credit.

     He pled guilty on January 30, 2017, to Criminal Trespass (a fourth degree crime), Driving While Suspended (a fourth degree crime, Hindering Apprehension (a disorderly persons offense) and Simple Assault (a disorderly persons offense).

     Defendant was represented by Steve Insley, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
