SCLS to Support STEAM Curriculum

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Newton, NJ - The Sussex County Library System continues to celebrate back-to-school season with a variety of new programs that enhance the S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, math) curriculum. Starting in October Main Library will host a Technology Club for kids in grades 4 and up where staff will introduce new programs and apps; and a Teen Build Night that allows older kids to experiment with new technologies and materials supplied by Instructables.com. The Main Library, Louise Childs and Franklin Branches will also be hosting a Young Makers Club which invites kids in Kindergarten through sixth grade to come in and work hands-on with a variety of projects.

All this is in addition to the usual story hours, books clubs, knitting and yoga groups, LEGO clubs, read-to-a-dog programs and more the SCLS has been offering all year. For details, dates and times stop by your local branch or go to the Programs link at www.sussexcountylibrary.org .
