Free Computer Classes at Sussex County Main Library

Free basic job readiness computer classes will be held this month at the Sussex County Main Library located at 125 Morris Turnpike in Frankford.

Free Basic Job Readiness Computer Training Classes

Free basic job readiness computer classes will be held in March, 2012 at the Sussex County Main Library located at 125 Morris Turnpike in Frankford. Funded by a statewide BTOP (Broadband Technology Opportunity Program) grant, these free classes are offered in conjunction with Sussex Community College and will be led by a college instructor. Topics will be presented in four-hour sessions running from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. as follows:

  • March 20 - Using Web-based Email
  • March 22 - Intro to Microsoft Word
  • March 27 - Creating a Resume and Cover Letter
  • March 29 - Job Searching on the Internet

Participation is limited to 20 registrants per class and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up for one or more classes using a single registration form available at all Sussex County Library locations. Return the completed form prior to the class date either by mailing it to the Sussex County Community College, Room E-104, One College Hill Rd., Newton, NJ 07860 or by faxing it to 973-300-2278.
