The 93rd Annual Sussex County Firemen's Association Inspection Day and Parade will be hosted by Ogdensburg Fire Department on Saturday, October 6th with step-off promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Sussex County Firemen's Association Inspection Day and Parade

The 93rd Annual Sussex County Firemen's Association Inspection Day and Parade will be hosted by Ogdensburg Fire Department on Saturday, October 6, 2012 with step-off promptly at 1:00 p.m. The Parade will begin in Ogden Hills and proceed on Route 517 through town, ending at the Ogdensburg Firehouse.

Hose Laying Competition will begin one-half hour after the end of the parade. Trophies will be awarded afterwards for Marching, Apparatus and Hose Laying competitions. Both in-county and out-of-county guest departments and EMS squads are eligible for trophies. The parade will also include invited dignitaries and guests.

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service as well as many Guest Companies will be participating in this year's parade.

Many man hours go into preparing apparatus for competition and this is the day we show our pride among ourselves and our community for what we do all year long - year after year.

We would like to extend an invitation to all residents of Sussex County to come out and applaud your all-volunteer fire departments on our annual inspection day. We hope to see you there!
