Press Release - Sentencing of Nicholas Fondaco

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Nicholas Fondaco, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 23, 2018.
     Fondaco, age 25 of Long Valley, was sentenced to 60 days in jail concurrent to a state prison sentence with credit for 140 days of time served.  He was ordered to submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $155.00.
     He pled guilty on January 8, 2018, to Hindering Apprehension, a fourth degree crime.
     The defendant gave a false name to a police officer in order to avoid arrest on June 21, 2017.
     Fondaco was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerry Neidhardt.
