Press Release - Sentencing of Cornelius Hill

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Cornelius Hill, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, on February 21, 2018, to the Department of Corrections for twelve years with six years of parole ineligibility, 444 days of jail credit for time served, $3,375.00 in fines and a 24 month loss of driver’s license.   
     He was convicted of third degree distribution of Hydrocodone on February 12, 2013, in the Town of Newton and distribution of Cocaine on February 14, 2013 in the Town of Newton. 
     He was also convicted of third degree crime of distribution of heroin in the Town of Newton on August 12, 2016. 
     Hill was represented by Charles O’Connell, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerome P. Neidhardt.
