Press Release - Sentencing of Erik K. Martinez

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Erik K. Martinez, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 12, 2018.
     Martinez, age 30, of Dover, was sentenced to three years Probation on condition that he serve ninety (90) days SLAP, undergo random urine monitoring, submit a DNA sample and pay $155.00 in court fines and fees. 
     He pled guilty on October 16, 2017, to Obstruction Administration of Law, a crime of the fourth degree. 
     During a motor vehicle stop by Hopatcong Police the defendant gave a false name to the officer.
     Martinez was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
