Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Desmond Hunter, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 12, 2018.
Hunter, age 31, of Flanders, was sentenced to 180 days in Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, and must pay $155.00 court fines and fees.
He pled guilty on August 21, 2017, to Driving While Suspended, a crime of a fourth degree.
While conducting a motor vehicle stop for a broken brake light, Hopatcong Police discovered the defendant to be driving while suspended for a second or subsequent DWI.
Hunter was represented at sentencing by William Ware, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
