Press Release - Sentencing of Philip Wilson

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Philip Wilson, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 5, 2018.
 
     Wilson, age 37, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 12 months probation. He was also ordered to complete a TASC evaluation and follow the recommendations, and pay mandatory fines and fees.
 
     Wilson pled guilty on November 6, 2017 to one (1) count of possession of CDS, a third degree offense and improper plates, a motor vehicle offense. 
 
     On August 26, 2017, Wilson was pulled over in Sparta for speeding and was arrested for possession of CDS.   
 
     Wilson was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
