Press Release - Plea of Linda Hulse-Appleby

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of guilty pleas to an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 6, 2017, by Linda Hulse-Appleby.
     Hulse-Appleby, age 52 of Byram, pled guilty to Shoplifting and Theft, both third degree crimes and a Violation of Probation.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for January 26, 2018. 
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking merchandise from the Frogmore Country Store in Byram on June 6, 2016. 
     The case was investigated by Patrolman Robert Schellhammer of the Byram Police Department. 
     Hulse-Appleby was represented by Assistant Deputy Public Defender, Shaun Morgan Russell, and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
