Press Release - Plea of Reginald Casterlin

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on November 6, 2017 by Reginald Casterlin.
     Casterlin, age 49, of Franklin, pled guilty to 4th degree Driving While Suspended for a Second or Subsequent DWI and three DWI motor vehicle charges.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for January 5, 2018.
     The defendant admitted that in July when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Vernon he was driving under the influence and was also driving while his driver’s license was suspended for a second or subsequent DWI.  The defendant also admitted he was driving while intoxicated on two other separate occasions in Hamburg Township and Hardyston Township.
     Casterlin was represented by Paris Eliades, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
