Press Release - Plea of Michael Linder

October 23, 2017
     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 23, 2017, by Michael Linder.
     Linder, age 27 of Sussex, pled guilty to Unlawful Taking of a Means of Conveyance, a fourth degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for January 5, 2018. 
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking an individual’s car without permission on October 30, 2016, in Vernon Township.
     The case was investigated by Patrolman Adam Kraus of the Vernon Township Police Department.
     Linder was represented by Andrew Bitar, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
