Press Release - Plea of Gregory Lamantia

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on September 13, 2017 by Gregory Lamantia.

     Gregory Lamantia, age 27, of Highland Lakes, pled guilty to six (6) counts of third degree Burglary, and two (2) counts of third degree Theft.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for October 27, 2017.
     The defendant admitted to breaking into the sheds of various Vernon Township residents taking items such has lawn mowers, leaf blowers, generators, saws and various other yard tools. All of these crimes were committed during the month of July, 2017
     Lamantia was represented by David Nufrio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
