Press Release - Sentencing of Brandon Wagner

July 10, 2017
 
     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Brandon Wagner, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on July 7, 2017.
 
     Wagner, age 28 of Franklin, was sentenced to five years of probation.  He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, continue with and complete his intensive outpatient program, attend AA/NA meetings twice per week, submit to random urine monitoring, submit a DNA sample at his own expense, and pay fines and fees totaling $1,205.00.  
 
     He pled guilty on May 22, 2017, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime.
The defendant was in possession of four wax folds of heroin in Franklin on April 13, 2017.
 
     Wagner was represented by Steven Insley, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
