Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Adrienne Wieladek, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 2, 2017.
Wieladek, age 40 of Branchville, was sentenced to three years of probation. She was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow the recommendations made from same at the discretion of Probation, continue current treatment, obtain and maintain employment, submit a DNA sample at her own expense, attend AA/NA meetings weekly and get a sponsor, and pay fines and fees totaling $2,410.00.
She pled guilty on April 10, 2017, to two counts of Attempting to Obtain a Controlled Dangerous Substance by Fraud, a third degree crime.
The defendant called Wantage Rite Aid Pharmacy and Newton Rite Aid Pharmacy on October 21, 2016, and
attempted to order prescriptions for Xanax.
Wieladek was represented by David Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie LaCarrubba.
