Press Release - Plea of Jason K. Corey

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 18, 2017 by Jason K. Corey.

     Corey, age 35, of Newton, pled guilty to two counts Burglary, a crime of the       third degree.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for July 14, 2017.
     The defendant admitted he broke into a vehicle in the Town of Newton, taking various items, which were recovered.  He also admitted to breaking into Saint Paul’s Abbey in Andover, taking several items.  Both incident occurred in February of this year.
     Corey was represented by David Nufrio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura Nazzaro.
