Town of Newton Issues Drought Alert

Morris Lake is presently at 20 inches below the spillway and is continuing to decrease due to lack of rain. All customers are advised not to water their lawns, wash cars or utilize water to fill swimming pools. We ask that residents and customers take measures to conserve water inside their homes as well. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
