Since it was launched in November, 2007, each monthly issue of the Sussex County Newsletter has provided its readers with a diversified selection of articles, ranging from stories unfolding the hidden treasures our County harbors within its boundaries to highlighting vital services available to Sussex County seniors to alerting us as to how to keep our families safe from the most recent health related crisis.
Beginning with the March issue, a new column, "The Director's Corner", featuring Freeholder Director Rich Zeoli, will be unveiled and become a part of the monthly venue. Freeholder Director Zeoli's ,"The Director's Corner", will highlight an interesting mix of topics, offering readers insight into the day-to-day operations of County Government, provide the most current budget and financial information, and updates on local events and State Legislation that influence the way residents live, work, and play in Sussex County.
Freeholder Director Zeoli said, "Our residents deserve to know how, why, where and when their tax dollars are being spent. The Freeholder Board takes pride in the transparency that defines Sussex County Government. I believe that our County residents appreciate hearing the facts from those who make the decisions that directly affect them and their families. I am looking forward to being that voice. This column will provide our residents with the opportunity to read firsthand what is happening in Sussex County Government as it happens."
"The Director's Corner" promises to enlighten its readers by presenting the most up-to-date, factual articles about Sussex County Government and the staff and public officials who make it all happen.
