A New Respite Program “In Good Company”
is Now Being Offered in Sussex County
(Newton, NJ) Are you caring for an elderly loved one at home? Do you need some time for yourself; an opportunity to visit your doctor, attend religious services, run errands? If so, perhaps, “In Good Company” a new respite program now being offered in Sussex County can provide you with some assistance.
While your loved one is being cared for and involved with quality supervised activities, you, the caregiver, will have time away from your important work of caring for your loved one. The program’s Social Worker is also available to offer guidance to caregivers about the everyday responsibilities of caring for a loved one at home and resources that may be available for either you or your loved one.
The respite program, In Good Company, is located at the Sussex County Homestead complex, 129 Morris Turnpike, Newton, NJ. There is no cost for this program. The hours of the program vary day to day, so please call (973) 948-5400 ext. 3122 for more information.
