Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 10, 2017 by Dallas Kruzelnick.
Kruzelnick, age 32, of Wantage, pled guilty to four counts of third degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and motor vehicle violation Driving While Under the Influence, second offense. Sentencing is presently scheduled for May 5, 2017.
The defendant admitted that in February of 2016 he was in possession of heroin and cocaine when New Jersey State Police responded to a report of an unconscious male sitting in his car in the roadway. The defendant had been shaken awake by EMTs before Troopers arrived. He also admitted that in a separate incident in November of 2016 he was in possession of heroin and cocaine when pulled over by Sparta Police for swerving into another lane while driving.
Kruzelnick was represented by Kevin Conway, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
