Fitzsimmons, age 30 of Hackettstown, pled guilty to Attempt to Obtain a Controlled Dangerous Substance by Fraud, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 24, 2017.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to calling in and trying to pick up a fraudulent prescription from the Stop and Shop Pharmacy in Sparta on November 12, 2016.
The case was investigated by Patrolman D. Florio of the Sparta Township Police Department.
Fitzsimmons was represented by Remi Spencer, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
