Press Release - Sentencing of James Stanford

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of James Stanford, who appeared before the Honorable Michael P. Wright, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 16, 2017.
     Stanford, age 41 of Andover, NJ, was sentenced to two (2) years of probation.  Stanford was also ordered complete a TASC evaluation and to pay mandatory fines and fees. 
     Stanford pled guilty on August 16, 2017 to one (1) count of Resisting Arrest, a disorderly persons offense and one (1) count of Simple Assault, a disorderly persons offense. 
     On May 16, 2017 and July 17, 2017, Stanford was arrested following domestic disputes.   
     Stanford was represented by Shaun Morgan Russell, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
