Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Anthony Fowler, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 2, 2017.
Fowler, age 42 of Hopatcong, NJ, was sentenced to thirty (30) months of probation. Fowler was also ordered to pay mandatory fines and fees.
Fowler pled guilty on April 3, 2017 to one (1) count of Criminal Mischief, a disorderly persons offense and one (1) count of Simple Assault, a disorderly persons offense.
On December 6, 2016, Fowler was arrested for terroristic threats and criminal mischief. On December 24, 2016, Fowler was arrested for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
Fowler was represented by Janine M. Cerra, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie LaCarrubba.
