Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Adam Pappas, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 10, 2017.
Pappas, age 24, of Sparta, was sentenced to 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, with credit for 177 days already served. He must also submit a DNA sample and pay $155.00 in court fines and fees.
He pled guilty on September 1, 2016, to Driving While Suspended for a Second or Subsequent DWI.
The defendant was found to be operating a motor vehicle by Newton Police when his driver’s license was suspended.
Pappas was represented by David Nufrio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura Nazzaro.
