     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 20, 2017 by William Brovich.

     Brovich, age 33, of Franklin, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for May 12, 2017.

     The defendant admitted that he was in possession of heroin when he was found by Vernon Police slumped over the steering wheel of his car on the side of the road.

     Brovich was represented by Steven Insley, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
