Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Daniel Castrovillari, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 10, 2017.
Castrovillari, age 32 of Vernon, New Jersey, was sentenced to 180 days jail as a condition of two (2) years probation and a ten years loss of license. Castrovillari was ordered to complete an alcohol abuse evaluation, enroll in the DECIDE program, and pay mandatory fines and fees.
Castrovillari pled guilty on October 17, 2016 to one (1) count of driving while suspended, a fourth degree crime; one (1) count of simple assault, a disorderly persons offense; and driving while intoxicated, a motor vehicle offense.
Castrovillari was represented by David A. Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
