Press Release - Plea of Kristopher Dohm

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an Indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, N.J. by KRISTOPHER DOHM.

     DOHM age 38, of Hopatcong, N.J. pled guilty to two (2) Counts of 2nd Degree Interference with Custody. Dohm admitted he took his 2 minor children from the State of New Jersey to Florida with the purpose of concealing the children and depriving their mother of custody for almost 2 months. He admitted in his factual basis that he did not take the children on vacation and he committed various acts to disguise their identity. He further admitted he did not safely return the children but that law enforcement apprehended him and secured the children. Sentencing is presently anticipated for April 21, 2017.

     Dohm  was represented by Miles Feinstein, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Seana Pappas.
