Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 27, 2017, by Jesus Fabian a/k/a Fabian Jesus.
Fabian, age 29 of New York, New York, pled guilty to two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a third degree crime, and Theft by Deception, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for April 7, 2017.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to conducting two credit card purchases on December 21, 2014, at the Newton Kohls using credit cards in the names of other individuals for merchandise totaling $1,255.76.
The case was investigated by Ptl. Kenneth Teets of the Newton Police Department.
Fabian was represented by Janine Cerra, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
