Press Release - Sentencing of Joseph Schreiber

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Joseph Schreiber, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 17, 2017.

     Schreiber, age 36 of Wantage, New Jersey, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, three (3) years probation, and ten years loss of license.  Schreiber was ordered to enroll in and complete DECIDE, and pay mandatory fines and fees.
     Schreiber pled guilty on December 19, 2016 to one (1) count of eluding, a third degree crime; one (1) count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third degree crime; driving while intoxicated; driving while suspended; and violation of probation.

     Schreiber was represented by Daniel Colfax, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Nikoletta P. Agouras.
