Press Release - Plea of Matthew Lubrano

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 14, 2017, by Matthew Lubrano.

     Lubrano, age 26 of Sparta, pled guilty to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a third degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 17, 2017.

     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking his girlfriend’s bank card to make ATM withdrawals from her bank account without her permission.

     The case was investigated by Detective Shaun Fitzgerald of the Vernon Township Police Department.

     Lubrano was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
