Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of William Cole, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on February 10, 2017.
Cole, age 48 of Netcong, was sentenced to four years in New Jersey State Prison concurrent with a Morris County sentence. He was given jail credit for 166 days of time served. He was ordered to make restitution of $567.43, pay fines and fees totaling $155.00, and submit a DNA sample at his own expense.
He pled guilty on December 12, 2016, to Burglary and Theft, both third degree crimes.
In July of 2015, he entered Capitol Care in Stanhope through a window and took Dell laptops, seven digital cameras and a Samsung flip phone.
Cole was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie LaCarrubba.
