Press Release - Plea of Zachary R. Coombs

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on January 18, 2017 by Zachary R. Coombs.

     Coombs, age 20, of Vernon, pled guilty to two counts Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Driving While Suspended for a Second or Subsequent DWI, all are crimes of the fourth degree.  He also pled guilty to DWI.  Sentencing is presently scheduled for February 24, 2017.

      The defendant admitted that when he was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation stop he had been drinking and driving and his license was suspended.

     Coombs was represented by Adolph Galluccio, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
