Press Release - Plea of Nicholas Vicari

      Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 19, 2016, by Nicholas Vicari.

     Vicari, age 36 of Newton, pled guilty to Burglary, a third degree crime, and to a Violation of Probation.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for January 27, 2017.

     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to entering cars in the parking lot of Byram Shop Rite on July 9, 2016.

     The case was investigated by Patrolman Todd Sodano of the Byram Township Police Department.

     Vicari was represented by William Oake, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
