Press Release - Sentencing of William Pruden

December 16, 2016

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of William Pruden, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on December 16, 2016.

     Pruden, age 38 of Stanhope, NJ, was sentenced to five (5) years of probation.  Pruden was also ordered to pay mandatory fines and fees.

     Pruden pled guilty on September 19, 2016 to one (1) count of Criminal Trespass, a fourth degree offense and one (1) count of Criminal Mischief, a disorderly persons offense.

     On February 22, 2015, Pruden was arrested for theft.

     Pruden was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura Nazzaro.
